Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

There are two areas of Kampala that are predominately Muslim, Old Kampala and Kibuli. On Saturday, we went through Kibuli and invited people to come to a showing of the Jesus film. Before the movie began, there was singing, dancing, and praising. By the time the movie started at dark, there were no fewer than a thousand people around that screen. I love when Ugandans see the miracles of Jesus portrayed. They don't sit and politely take it in. They scream and clap and cheer...just as it should be! AMINA! (Of course that's Sarah leading the music!) Posted by Picasa

Wish I had been there, too! It looks like a lot of fun.
