Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

Childhood memories

On my last day in Maysville I went out to eat with my childhood BFF, Betsy. We recently found each other on Facebook. We haven't seen each other in close to 15 years. I love Facebook for this reason. How fun to re-connect! Anyhoo, we went to lunch at my favorite place to eat in Maysville, possibly the world....Pasquale's. As we were leaving, out from the kitchen came Tina Lang! We went to school together, the 3 of us, from 1st grade all the way to 12th! What a fun little reunion!
