Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

Bet you didn't hear this at your church today!

After the service, Deo was making the usual announcements. This group meets here at this time on this day...yadda, yadda, yadda. He got to the "leaders meeting" on Saturday and told people if they wanted to be part of the praise team or sing a special or anything, they MUST come to the meeting on Saturday. Then he said, "Young ladies, come and shake your butt for Christ." We don't even SAY butt at my home church, must less have the pastor invite ladies to shake it! You gotta love Africans. They say what they mean and mean what they say!

So did you shake it like a Polaroid picture? And for clarity, there is 'some' resemblance to the guy in the photo, but remember that there is only ONE Bubbles in your life!

With the shorter hair, can you still do the Cher flip?
