God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.
Dawn had to leave us on Sunday to fly to Ethiopia where she had spent a year in a clinic out in a remote village. She needed to go back to finish up some things there. We hated to see her go, but loved to watch the Ugandans pray for her. At church they all stretched their hands toward her and prayed for a safe journey. And Deo prayed his standard prayer when any of us leaves..."Lord, we pray that she will go back in peace, not in pieces."
