Subway issues

They are trying to build a subway in Seville but can't because everywhere they dig they find Roman ruins. Can you see the large pot on the right? There's a bunch of stuff down there but it was dark and that's all that shows in the pic. This is just a spot on the street blocked off by a temporary fence while they excavate it. It seemed somewhat surreal to me to think about walking streets older than America but then to think that under them are the remains of a civilization older than Spain!!!!!
