Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

It is COLD up in here!

On Thanksgiving day (in America) it started to rain and Seville turned cold. The week before it had been in the upper 70s and low 80s. Since then, it has rained about every day and it is stinking cold. I know it is not as cold as it is back home, but when you walk every where and you don't have heat in your house that is made of concrete and marble, you freeze at 40 degrees.
This is Darby on one of her last days in Seville. (Tears welling up at the mention of Darby's absence.) We are trying to get a pic of her breath. In the mornings it is cold enough to see it...even if you can't in this picture.
