Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

No pics today but...

Mom and June went prayer walking and evangelizing (how do you spell that?) in Old Kampala today. It is an area of the city that is predominantly Muslim so it is a difficult place to share Christ. However, Mom and June went out with Agnes as their translator and led SIX people to Christ! AMINA!!!!
While they were there, a political rally "broke out" and they had to abandon their mission. The political climate right now is so crazy. You just never know when a crowd here is going to turn into a mob and get violent. Just last week a "rally" turned into a mob scene and the police had to bring out the tear gas and 3 people were killed. Please pray over this while we draw closer and closer to the elections in late February.
Tomorrow we leave for safari...look for new pictures Sunday night!!!
