Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. I don't want to be settled/complacent. But why is it so hard sometimes? And how on earth do you explain it to someone?!! Maybe my blog will help you understand. I hope you enjoy.

Close toed shoes

My trip to Germany made me want close toed shoes. I haven't had a pair on since I got here in April. I probably won't wear these until November. But they were on SALE. I couldn't help it. They're so cute. I've looked at them in the window of this shop near the bus stop for months. And today they were on SALE. I just couldn't help myself. Don't you love them???? (Don't you also love the Kikoy skirt from Uganda that I'm using as a table cloth??)
