updates

Several of you have asked about the students I blogged about last week. Thank you for praying for them. I went to Mary Beth's mom's thing on Friday night. It was sweet. They are believers and the funeral was held at their church. There were pictures everywhere and Mary Beth was so proud to show me pics of her mom when she was pregnant with her. It was touching. I finally saw her and her dad again today. He is going to move her to a local Christian school where she was before she came here and before her mom became so ill. She is not excited about going, but apparently there is a situation with an older boy. Please continue to pray for her. She is only 14 and will now be raised by her single father. Pray for him as well.
As for Jamodd, his cousin's funeral wasn't until Monday...more than a week after his death. When I asked him why, he said it is because his auntie didn't have insurance and they had to find the money for his burial. Jamodd wore a shirt today with his cousin's picture on it. He was only 16. Jamodd is supposed to be moving to Chattanooga (sp???) to live with his auntie soon. He is a typical kid from the projects who so desperately needs to be rescued by Christ. Please pray for him.
And then there is good news. Josh's dad...the brain tumor...it's gone!!!!!!!!!!! They gave him drugs to try to shrink it before trying to remove it. When they went back a week later, it was gone completely!!!! Praise the living God! They are believers...they know it's a miracle.
