Homesick

God's word reminds us that this world is not our home. Do you ever feel like a stranger...like an alien...like you're not sure where to park for a while? It's really a GOOD thing. Sad day

Last week I went with Darby and her mom to the Museo de Belles Artes (Museum of Beautiful Art) where we saw no less than one zillion paintings of Mary holding either baby/toddler Jesus or dying/dead Jesus. There was not ONE not ONE not ONE piece of art showing resurrected Jesus, King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Not.one.
This is one of several paintings we saw of the "coronation of Mary". That is God the Father on the right, Jesus on the left, and the Holy Spirit as a dove in the middle. They are placing a crown on Mary's head. THEY, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, are placing a CROWN on MARY'S head. Can someone please tell me where that is in the BIBLE??????? Did Satan paint this picture himself? I can hear him now, "Take the focus off Jesus. Fool an entire population into worshipping someone else. If they never read the Bible, they'll never know the difference!"
There is no truth here. It breaks my heart. Please pray.

I was at an apologetics conference last weekend and one of the speakers pointed out that most of sin & Satan's work is a corruption of what was originally intended for good. The Bible does celebrate Mary and praise her, but it stops at worshiping her, the sin is to push on to idolatry.
